Bakırçay University Çiğli Training and Research Hospital was officially inaugurated on May 21, 2022, as one of the largest and most modern healthcare institutions in the Aegean Region.
The hospital was established as a part of Turkey’s transformation in healthcare, aiming to deliver integrated, high-quality, and accessible health services. Designed with a smart hospital concept, it combines advanced medical technology and digital infrastructure with patient-oriented service delivery.
With its affiliation with Bakırçay University Faculty of Medicine, the hospital also plays a central role in medical education, clinical training, and research.
